IC2 Generator

The Generator in Industrial Craft 2 is how you will be getting your EU at the start. It is a bit comparable to a furnace which instead of producing product produces electricity. You can use the majority of fuels within the generator however it is more, as expected by early game IC2, expensive in long-term costs.

Generator Recipe

There are two available recipes for the generator in Tekkit Classic. The first requires a RE-Battery on the first row's central slot then the middle row is entirely refined iron and the last slot is a iron furnace. This first recipe uses more iron than the second recipe which keeps the same RE-Battery but has a machine block on the central slot with the bottom central slot being a normal furnace.
